I have tried several different treatments to deal with anxiety and panic attacks. I thought these tips which I’ve used in the past would make somewhat of a difference for you. I did find something that did in fact eliminate it, but I will share that with you later.

This is the one blocker that keeps people from naturally being comfortable and enjoying one another’s presence. The fear is just an emotion, not something that practically controls the real you.
An old great that has done wonders for people all around the world is deep breathing. I know this is an obvious one but I’d be remisced if I didn’t add it to the list of techniques. I know many people who dismiss this technique but I want to stress this one is so important because it is truly the precursor to you being able to put the other techniques into action. Simply put, brethe in deep for 5 seconds and then out for 5 seconds. Continue to repeat this for 1 -2 full minutes. This will at least give you a pathway to effectively implementing the rest of these techniques and relax your mind.

The closer and closer you get to that experience of occurance the more nervous you get. Now I get that all those feelings are valid, just remember it has not happened yet. It’s all in your mind. Live your life in the now, but still plan for the future. Living your life in the now, will get you to relaxing your mind more and living life more freely.
“The What If Syndrome” is a truly powerful tip to think about. This one ties into what we have been discussing all along. All we have in our minds is what if X happens. Your imagination can be a powerful thing and if you allow it to generate images of things that could possibly happen in a negative context, you are focusing on negative images that can deepen your anxiety and make it much worse. When you feel your mind generating ‘worst case scenario’ images, try to remind yourself that you are focusing on the future and not the now. Also, remember that the worst-case scenario will not kill you. If your mind says “what if the worst?,” force yourself to look for a “what if the best?” scenario in return. That is another way to counter act those thoughts.
